This morning I blindfolded myself and asked my flat mate to hide shapes from my shape sorter in the carpets areas of the house. I then crawled around feeling for them. I missed two, one hidden in my walk in wardrobe. I removed the blindfold before walking to the music room when I replaced the blindfold and found the remaining 3 shapes.
Ask the child to identify the shape or put the shape back in the sorter. To increase the disorientation, spin them around and or move some items in the room around.
or have them crawling around blindfolded in a room and see how long it takes them to realze that they are feeling for shapes which aren’t there
