More Tactile Suggestions

Idea 1: Blindfold your child and give them an object to feel, then remove the object from sight before taking off their blindfold. Ask the child to draw the object they were just feeling.

Here’s an example: http://www.themudpiemakers.com/2011_10_01_archive.html ( warning, there are questionable adds on the page)

Idea 2: Ask everybody to bring an object from home and hide all objects before any else sees them. Now blindfold everybody, and give one object to one player but not the object they brought. They have to feel and describe the object but not name it, the owner has to guess whether it is the object they brought.

Tip: Make it harder by using shoes, stuffed animals or even pillows.
